BBC2’s Springwatch is returning to RSPB Minsmere

19th March 2015

This spring BBC2’s Springwatch team will be coming back to RSPB Minsmere situated less than 2 miles away from The Westleton Crown hotel.

Springwatch is a popular BBC2 series that has been running for over 10 years and is presented by Chris Packham, Michaela Strachan and Martin Hughes-Games.

It is a very exciting time at Minsmere nature reserve which is going to be home to the Springwatch team for the second year in a row. The UK’s longest-running wildlife series is planning to spend three weeks at Minsmere and will feature some of reserve’s impressive 5,600 different wildlife species.

Here at The Westleton Crown, hotel and restaurant, we are lucky to be right on the doorstep of the stunning Suffolk countryside that is a real paradise not just to birdwatchers but also to all nature lovers. Our guests and diners can often catch sights of rare bird species in our terraced garden.

It is expected that Springwatch will return to BBC2 later this year but official dates have not been announced yet.
