Visiting Suffolk coast this May? Here is a list of our favourite things to do and see

15th April 2015

May is a fantastic month to enjoy local outdoor events here in Suffolk. If you are coming to the Suffolk coast this spring we have put together few suggestions to help you plan your break.

At The Westleton Crown we think that walking is the best way to explore our stunning county so make sure to pack your walking boots. Also The Suffolk Walking Festival is taking place in May and offers over 90 guided walks, including few coastal walks just on the doorstep of The Westleton Crown, traditional Suffolk hotel and restaurant.

You can view all the guided walks on The Suffolk Walking Festival website.

If you are looking for a new experience, visit Weird and Wonderful Wood event at Haughley Park Barn on 16th and 17th May 2015. It is a unique art and craft event focusing on everything wood and is an ideal family day out (your four-legged family members are also welcome as long as they are kept on the lead). You can find out more about Weird and Wonderful Wood by visiting their website.

Also a very popular The Suffolk Show takes place on 27th and 28th May 2015 at Trinity Park just outside Ipswich.

If you are planning a short break in Suffolk this spring take a look at our room offers at The Westleton Crown.
